Karoline is my great grandmother. She was born in Russia – a Volga German. In 1907 William, Karoline and two children emigrated to the US, to Tampa, Marion Co, Kansas. Another child was born and then Karoline died in 1910. William moved to Bessie, Oklahoma and married twice more.
I have a Bible record but have not found anyone who could read it to tell me where in Russia they came from. I believe it to be the Saratov region, but don't recognize or can't locate the finer detail given.
