MICKLER, SEYMOUR CHARLES, 88, of Tampa, died Friday (March 9, 1990). He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and came here in 1933. He was a graduate of Culver Military Academy, a member of the Black Horse Troop and attended the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton School of Finance. He joined the F.W. Woolworth Co. in 1923 and was responsible for establishing the company in Cuba. He came to Tampa in 1933 and was active in the import-export business. He was a member of the Consular Corps since 1939 and president of Mickler Corp. He was vice chairman of the board of directors of the First National Bank of Clearwater and a board member for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Tampa Yacht & Country Club. Survivors include two daughters, Laura Mickler Bentley, Tampa, and Patricia Mickler Dawson, Clearwater; a sister, Margaret Tilden, Edmonds, Wash.; and three grandsons. Curry & Son Funeral Home, Tampa.
