Naomi was born at Kaiser hospital in Walnut Creek, CA. I remember how excited I was to have a sister! She grew up in Oakland, CA and was deeply affected by her mother's death in 1978.

She was an expert horseback rider and at one time we owned three horses together; Shanty, her colt Mushroom and a gelding named Scooter. I remember sneaking into the East Bay hills in Tilden Park with her at night and she would just sneak into a farmer's field and pick out some horses that we would ride bareback.

She eventually moved to the New York City area and had a hard life but was always a joy to be with. She was a devoted fan of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie and we often played guitar together. Her final years were full of ups and downs but I always enjoyed my brief visits with her when I was in her neck of the woods.

She spent the last year of her life in Lewes, Delaware and was well cared for by her friends, Tom and Debbie. She was moved to a wonderful hospice for her final days and I am told that when she passed away she was singing a song by Bob Dylan.

I will always be grateful for the 51 years of Life that we shared together.
