Cecelia Albrecht, of Athens, died Mar 3, 2003, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
Ceil was born Oct 28, 1909, in the town of Rietbrock, Marathon County, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kropidlowski) Nowicki. She married John Albrecht Jun 10, 1930, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He preceded her in death Apr 27, 1984.
Ceil was a homemaker and volunteered many hours of her time working at St Anthony Catholic Church & School, Athens. She loved singing in the choir, playing the piano and working in her flower gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Dolores (Marvin) Osterbrink, Wausau, Patricia (Thomas) Niewolny, Wausau; two sons, Jerome (Mary Ann) Albrecht, Athens, John (Debra) Albrecht, Edgar; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Stella Nowicki, Athens.
Besides her husband, John and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy "Doris" Albecht and four brothers and six sisters.
