Christine Lowell Bertz, 56, of 1116 Louise Ave., died Monday evening at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Thomas G. Bertz. They were married 33 years. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Freeda Denlinger Lowell III. She was a library assistant for the School District of Lancaster. A member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, she was active in a variety of school, church and volunteer activities. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Jennifer, wife of Christopher Healy of Arlington, Va., and Jill, wife of David Hartman of Lancaster; a son, Thomas G., husband of Colleen Bertz II of Exton; three grandchildren; a sister, Marianne, wife of Robert Ulmer of Lancaster; and a brother, John W.
