Oskaloosa - Two teenagers were killed when the one-seater bicycle they were riding was stuck by a car, throwing them into the path of another vehicle, authorities said.
Caleb Lee Krile of Eddyville and Taylor A. Lewis of Oskaloosa, both 14, were killed in the accident that happened about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The teenagers were heading east when the bicycle they were riding was struck from behind by car driven by Robert Glassberg, 51, of Cedar Rapids. The impact threw the teens into path of another vehicle driven by Linda King, 54, of Oskaloosa.
