He was the owner and operator of Leo's Bar and Cafe, 707 Third Ave., Wausau, from 1962 until 1983. He was a member of the Musician's Union 480, and owned the Pearl Quenn Orchestra. He was a former town of Rietbrock farmer, trucker, and logger.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Soczka; three daughters, Marie (Jerome) Schroeder, Carmen Altenburg, Cyndi (Tom) McGivern, all of Wausau; one son, Donnie (Sandy) Boe-Soczka, Wausau; two brothers, Edward (Florence) Soczka, West Allis and Clareance (Esther) Soczka, Wausau; four sisters, Hattie (Joe) Nowacki, Athens, Lucy (Albert) Stencil, Athens, Agnes (Eugene) Frymark, Azusa, CA, Marcella (Tony) Kurtzweil, Merrill; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Anne Church, Wausau.
