Paul Gottlob Huber, 100, of Paris passed away Wednesday May 30, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 1, 2012 at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Blake officiating and Rev. Lynn Starnes in Cego. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Cemetery in Cego, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service Friday 10 until 11 a.m.

He was born in Bell County, Texas November 10, 1911 a son of Christian and Bertha Koerth Huber. He married Gertrude Miller March 8, 1941 in Waco, Texas. He was employed by Nash-Robinson Lumber Company in Marlin, Texas for many years. After that he owned and operated Huber Paint and Hardware in Marlin. He was an energetic man who loved the outdoors, farming, fishing and his family. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude; daughter Mary Ruth Hutchens; 5 brothers and a sister.

Survivors include a son, Ray Charles Huber and wife Kathy of Arkansas; grandchildren Nancy Russell, Rebecca Scott, Drew Hutchens, Erin Huber, Dr. Sara Huber and John Paul Huber; 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a son-in-law James Hutchens.
