Olive B. Koetter, 85, of Victoria, TX, formerly of Houston, TX, went home to be with her Lord on June 1st, 2012. Olive was born April, 28, 1927, in New Orleans, LA, to Albert & Virginia Bozant. She spent 52 wonderful years married to the late Juergen Koetter residing in Houston, TX. Olive was a loving mother who raised two children, Skipper Koetter and Virginia Koetter Kappler. Olive was a member of Grace Lutheran Church on Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX.
Olive is survived by her son Skipper Koetter & wife Dotty of Victoria; her daughter Virginia Kappler & husband Howard of McAllen; four grandchildren, Tim Kappler, Toby Koetter & wife Kimberly, Kendyl Koetter Parker & husband Charles, & Gin Kappler Peeler & husband John. Olive had six beautiful great-grandchildren; Faith, Kylie, & Morgan Koetter of Parker, CO; Madison & Peyton Parker of The Woodlands, TX; and Carter Peeler of Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, building fund, Victoria, TX.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Forest Park Lawndale, Houston, TX, from 6:00-9:00.
Service: Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, interment will immediately follow.
