Kimberly Ann Noffke, 48, of Athens, Al. passed away Tuesday at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Kimberly was born Nov. 28, 1959, in Orange, Texas. She was a registered nurse and a radiographic technician, and she received the Oncology Nurse of the Year Award in 2007 at Crestwood Medical Center.

Kimberly was a graduate of Fort McMurray High School in Fort McMurry, Alberta, Canada. She was also a graduate of the Baptist School of Radiographic Technology and the College of the Main Land School of Nursing in Galveston, Texas. Kimberly was a nurse, a homemaker, an animal lover, and had a great passion for the piano.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Robert Bruce Noffke of Athens, Al.; daughter, Kelli Kristin Noffke of Nashville, Tn.; parents, Clothilde and Donald Moore of Bellville, Texas; brother, Ray Moore of Nacogdoches, Texas; and sisters, Sue Martin of Crockett, Texas, Terry Booth of Bellville, Texas, and Donna Godfrey of Austin, Texas.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Bellville, with burial at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery under the direction of Kenesk Funeral Home in Bellville. Local arrangements are by Spry Funeral Home of Athens.
