Kevin Jon Tovar was the son of Cecilia Marie Valdez and Walter Tovar. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1994. He helped build Detail Express, his brother's business. Kevin worked in food service at Colorado State University for 10 years. He loved Harley Davidsons and his dog, "Chunky." He enjoyed fishing, camping and barbecuing. Kevin was an assistant coach for city league football for 9- to 11-year-olds.
Survivors include his mother, Cecilia Espinosa and stepfather, Tim Espinosa of Fort Collins; his father, Walter Tovar of Longmont; 4 sisters; 6 brothers; and several nephews, nieces and godchildren.
