Christine was from Bergkirchen, Minden, Prussia. She married Friederich Heinrich Miers circa 1828 in Germany and the family immigrated to the US circa 1844. Children William, Christina, Henry and Caroline were born in Germany; Gottlieb and Friederich were born in Illinois. Christine married Caspar Heinrich Heidenreich in 1852, and Caspar assumed guardianship of her minor children. Their son Friederich Wilhelm Heidenreich lived for many years with his half-brother Gottlieb Miers and wife, and died at their home of kidney failure.
