Sharon Lee Spray, 55, of Patoka, Illinois, formerly of West Salem, Illinois passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1956 at Fairfield, Illinois to John D. and Eleanor (Johnson) Spray.

She was a secretary for Physicians Filing Service at Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was a member of the Patoka Christian Church where she was very active. She also had served as a Children's Minister at the West Salem Christian Church, Toledo Christian Church, and the Salem Christian Church. She also loved to sing and teach children.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Eleanor Spray Seals of West Salem, Illinois; three sisters, Anita Newlin of Patoka, Illinois, Janet Hayes and her husband Ron of Lindale, Texas, and Nancy Greathouse and her husband Bill of West Salem, Illinois; two brothers, Randy Spray and his wife Charlotte of Greenup, Illinois and John Spray and his wife Audrey of Albion, Illinois; two nieces, Corina Byford and her husband Brad, and Hannah Newlin; nine nephews, Matthew Hayes, Scott Spray, Michael Spray, Sam Greathouse and his wife Kristen, Chris Spray and his wife Audra, Andrew Spray and his wife Heather, Adam Greathouse, Benjamin Spray and his fiancee Ashley Hout and Philip Hayes; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father John D. Spray and her brother-in-law Howard Newlin.

Funeral services at the Marion Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery.
