Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 am Friday at Assumption Catholic Church for Mrs. Catherine Mary Pitt, 80, Stockton, Calif., who died Sunday, Dec. we, at a Stockton hospital.
She was born on July 8, 1904, in St. Marys, the daughter of Claude A. and Catherine E. Mainey Ulrich.
Mrs. Pitt moved to Topeka shortly after graduation from high school. She was a secretary for Capital Securities Co. in Topeka many years before she moved to California about 34 years ago.
She was married to George Forrest Pitt Sept. 30, 1950, at Phoenix, Ariz. He died July 2, 1982.
She is survived by two brothers, Joseph L. Ulrich ad Leo J. Ulrich both of Topeka, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hanrahan, Mrs. Helen Marx and Lucille Ulrich, all of Topeka.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Pitt will lie in state from 5 to 9 pm Thursday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Thursday.
