Born in Taunton, MA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anelia (Izdebska) Przygoda. John was an electrical contractor for over forty years, and was President of Jay Electric Company. He founded and continued to be President and CEO of Valley Electrical Equipment Inc. until the time of his death. He was a WW II veteran serving in the US Navy.
He is survived by his loving children, Dr. John J. Przygoda, Jr. and his wife Janet of East Greenwich, Janice Anthony and her husband Charles of Coventry, Joanne Przygoda and her husband John Zedella of Vancouver, WA, and Jodie Parker and her husband Stephen of Norton, MA. John was the cherished grandfather of nine. He was the brother of Helen Lichacz of Taunton, MA, Stephanie Slapik of Brockton, MA, Ann Pasiuk of Duxbury, MA, Walter Przygoda of Providence, and Amelia Drozdowski of Cumberland.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02907.
