JACK ADAMS

Jack Adams was healed of his physical struggles, surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends, on June 2, 2012, in Apple Valley, California. Jack played semi-pro baseball upon graduating from Grand Coulee High School. He also loved basketball, teaching the elementary school kids how to play on Saturdays. Jack enlisted in the United States Army Air Force serving as a classification officer under his rank of Tech Sergeant. Making his home in Southern California, he practiced law for 35 years, while raising his family. Jack enjoyed his many friends that he went camping and boating with including the many summers to Lake Shasta, Lake Powell and numerous camping outings at Wiley Wells during Thanksgiving with their large group of family and friends. Jack and his wife were involved in the communities in which they lived. He was given an outstanding club leadership award for serving as President of the Kiwanis Club. They were elected fellows of the California Lutheran Education Foundation. He volunteered many hours to write the existing bylaws for numerous organizations including the Scaffold Industry Association, and the American Lutheran Church, being the highest ranking layman to serve in the church. In 1970, Jack gave his heart to Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully, influencing clients, friends and family for his Lord and Savior. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother. He is survived by his adoring wife of 64 years, his daughters, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Wounded Warriors, City of Hope or your favorite charity . Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary handled the arrangements.
