Ruth C. LaPine, 86, of Bargersville, passed away June 16, 2012. The daughter of Joseph and Pearl (Kieffer) Massing, Ruth was born February 3, 1926 in Ripley County, Indiana.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Bargersville Senior Center. The Rev. Fr. John Beitans will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church - 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Ruth is survived by her son, William T. LaPine, Jr. (Diana); her daughter, Denise M. Kupfer (Tonya Curtis); three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William T. LaPine, Sr.; brothers, Leo, Ray, Fritz and Leonard Massing and sisters, Cecelia Law and Irene Duke and a grandson.
