Anita was born November 22, 1922, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late Henry Sr. and Emma Last Dallmann. Anita married Clarence Haelfrisch on April 12, 1947, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1980. She was a member of St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. Anita was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; one son: Giles Haelfrisch; son-in-law: Gary Jaeger; brother: Carl Dallmann; and sisters: Hildegard Krueger, Madeline Dallmann and Mildred Watruba.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, 219 Manitowoc St., Reedsville. The Rev. Robert Hankwitz will officiate with burial at St. John-St. James Lutheran West Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service at 1 p.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the Haelfrisch family.
The Haelfrisch family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the New Horizon wing of the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center for all the loving care shown to their mother.
