Miss, Nora Agnes Ryan was born July 4, 1891 at Osage City, Kansas and departed this life Saturday, June 17, 1922 at Mt. Carmel hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas. She had undergone an operation June 7 and was apparently making a good recovery when her condition suddenly became critical and she died. Her parents came to Crawford County when she was a baby and located near Pittsburg, August 4, 1909 she became the wife of Otto M. Schulz and three children were born to them. Edwin age twelve, Raymond age nine, and Lloyd age six. Besides her husband and children she leaves her mother, Mrs. Mary Matthews of Pittsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Brasset of Arma, Mrs. Ella Kenyon of Girard, and Mrs. Bessie Dauthit of Severy, Two brothers, John Ryan of Ofallen, Illinois and Francis Matthews of Pittsburg. Her remains were brought to Walnut, Sunday evening to the home of Dora Schulz, Mr. Schulz mother. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning , June 20, in St. Patrick's Church conducted by Rev. Fr, J.J. Daveron. Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Schulz have lived at Pryor, Okla. home since 1917. Mrs. Schulz was a kindly woman. A good wife, mother, neighbor and friend and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others. Although her years were short, she has lived a Christian life and when her Maker called her, she was prepared to enter her eternal home.
