EMPORIA, KANSAS: Martin C. Pedersen died March 3, 1962 at Newman Memorial County Hospital. He was born June 4, 1891 in Franklin County, IA to Niels and Ellen Hansen Pedersen. He was a former grocer in Plymouth, and moved to Emporia following retirement. He attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include his wife, Anna Wessel Pedersen; two daughters, Mrs. George Pace, and Mrs. Russell Jacob; a son, Chester; a half-sister, Mrs. Charles Hall; a half-brother, Chris Pedersen; 4 granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. Services were held at the McVey Chapel. Interment was at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
