Funeral Here Nov. 24 For Mrs. Buhrman, 78
Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Buhrman, 78, who died Friday, Nov. 21, at the Creighton Care Centre, were conducted Nov. 24 at Hengstler's Chapel. The Rev. Edgar Gershon, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Berglund, Leland Stokes, James Thompson, Dale Holan, Cecil Falter and Abbott Tyler.
Edith B. Albin, daughter of Frank and Arvilla Albin, was born July 16, 1891 in Cass County. She lived practically her entire life in the Creighton community.
She was married to Fred J. Buhrman on Sept. 24, 1906 at Sioux City, Ia. He died in 1954.
Mrs. Buhrman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Keller of Newark, Ohio and Mrs. Blanche Halleen of Anaheim, Calif.; two sons, Alfred of Sioux City, Ia. and Delbert of Anaheim, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ada Beckner of Plainview.
