Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Bruch officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Ardyce was born June 27, 1919, in Jefferson, S.D., the daughter of Richard and Blanche (Collins) Bernard. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1937.
Ardy married John "Smokey" Satter on Dec. 25, 1944, in Jefferson. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1994, in Sioux City. She worked as a waitress for many years. Some of the restaurants she worked for were Flamingo, Danny's, the Fife & Drum and Joe Gantz Steakhouse.
She loved to play cards and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Richard Satter and his wife, Jacque of Sioux City; two daughters, Mary and her husband, Lawrence Quinlain and Joni and her husband, Mike Worrell, all of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Scott, Jana, John, Tresa, Joe and Amy; seven great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Alfred Allard; and a sister-in-law, Betty Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sisters, Eileen Wadhams, Betty McInerney and Annette Allard; and a brother, Duane Bernard.
Pallbearers will be Todd Danielson, Matthew Danielson, Scott Quinlain, Kasey Quinlain, John Quinlain, Alex Quinlain and Joseph Worrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jana Danielson, Tresa Worrell and Amy Martin.
