Ardis J. Zaruba, age 64 of 627 W. Yellow St. Cadott, Wis., died Sunday, August 8, 2004, peacefully in her home after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on January 2, 1940, the daughter of Norman and Edna (Berg) Davis, in Eau Claire, Wis.
Ardis married LaVerne Zaruba on July 28, 1959. She was a homemaker most of her life. Ardis loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, LaVerne Zaruba of Cadott; two daughters, Brenda (Lee) Gilbert of Willard, Wis., and Pamela Jean Zaruba of Chippewa Falls; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Ruth) Davis; and three sisters, Marion (Martin) Stephenson, Verna (Sidney) Sivertson and Marlene Ryba.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jeffrey Zaruba.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with Father Don Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.
Friends may call at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott on Wednesday, August 11, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m., where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil prayer service.
