Josephine Ann Koenig, 94, of Ft. Thomas, formerly of Newport, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital East. She was a member of St. Ann Ladies Society of St. Stephen Church in Newport. Her husband, Edward J. Koenig, died in 1966. Survivors include daughters, Mary Jean Mason and Marjorie Ann Wyman, both of Ft. Thomas; a son, Edward J. Koenig of Mt. Lookout, Ohio; sisters, Adelaide Holthaus and Gertrude Holthaus, both of Ft. Thomas; a brother, Ferd Holthaus of Seal Beach, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. There will be no visitation. Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Carmel Manor Nursing Home, Ft. Thomas.
