OBIT- 12 May 1952 WATERTOWN DAILY TIMES, Watertown, Jefferson Co, WI
JEFFERSON- Mrs Bertha Filenius, 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs William Traeder, 909 Milwaukee street at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, after two months of illness.
She was born, 15 January 1873 in the town of Concord, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Julius Zimdars. She was a life long resident of Jefferson county. She was married to August Filenius and he preceded her in death in 1947.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs William Traeder, Jefferson, Mrs William Wendt, Sullivan; three sons, John of the town of Farmington; Ben, Oconomowoc; George at Jefferson; four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Four brother and five sisters preceded her in death.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St Peter's Lutheran church, Helenville, with the Rev Gerhard P. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Jefferson.
