From contributor Dennis Brandt #47232334:
"The son either of Philipp Frantz & Anna Maria (Stark) Wolf or Jeremiah Kuntzi & Susannah (Frantz) Wolf (both are reported multiple times in online family trees), there is consensus that he arrived at the port of New York on May 16, 1854, and may have moved to Ohio. However, he married German-born Katharine Barbara Albrecht April 18, 1857, in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and fathered:
Philip H. (b. 04/04/60)
Kathryne (b. 11/08/61)
Abraham (b. @1864)
Helena & Magdalena (b. 02/28/66)
Frederick (b. 11/25/67)
Eleanora Louise (b. 12/31/69)
Mary Clara Mathilde (b. 04/23/71)
Elizabeth Charlotte (b. 01/29/73)
Abraham Heinrich Clamor (b. 04/30/75)
Bertha Wilhelmine (b. 12/15/76)
Martha Anna Margarethe (b. 12/23/78)
Susanna Julie (b. 01/06/81 - married Louis F. Herbkersman)
William E. (b. 10/??/81)
Valentine Philipp (b. 03/04/83)
Emma J. (b. 04/??/83 [?]), and
Catherine (b. 04/??/90).
[Given that Katharine was fifty-one years of age at the birth of her last child, one must ask if there weren't another woman in Abraham's life.] In 1860, he was a laborer living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A Civil War veteran, he enlisted in Lancaster August 6, 1862, mustered into federal service there August 11 as a private with Co. B, 122nd Pennsylvania Infantry, and honorably discharged with his company May 15, 1863. By 1867, he had moved his family to Ohio where he remained until his death."

Contributor Betty B. (49633217) notes that "Catherine, listed as daughter in the 1900 census, is actually Abraham's granddaughter. She was the child of daughter Eleanora and Fr. Franz. Story is not completely clear, but Mr. Franz is no longer present by shortly after the birth. Unsure why mother Eleanora is not in this location in 1900."

It appears that Eleanora (Nora) Wolf and Frederick Ernest Henry Franz (Fr. Franz) were married 8 May 1899 Cuyahoga, and baby Catherine (Katie Louise Franz) was born in Apr. 29, 1890 in Independence Tp, but Frederick Franz and Eleanora Wolf were then divorced in 1895. Franz remarried, to Amelia Burmeister, and they had additional children, at least 7, beginning in 1895. Abraham's granddaughter Catherine L. (b. 29 Apr 1890) married Herbert Henry Walker, and she died 10 July 1970 Wickliffe, Lake, Ohio, and is buried in Lake View Cemetery memorial 70226064.
