Mother of actress Maude Fealy, Margaret was a stage actress and head of an acting school in Denver for twenty-five years and once had Douglas Fairbanks as a pupil. Making her stage debut as a child with Richard Mansfield's company, she later appeared on stage with Sir Henry Irving, E.S. Williard and several other well known actors of the day. She played on Broadway in three shows: ‘Quo Vadis,' ‘The Lady From Lane's' with Percy Bronson and Irene Chandler and, ‘Barbara' with Frank Bacon and Lillian Dix. She is credited with giving actor Lynne Overman his first dramatic acting lessons in 1915. At one time Margaret was quoted regarding immorality, as saying, "I can say with absolute conviction that I have never seen as much immorality among theatrical people as I have seen off the stage - right here in our fair Colorado." She was married to bandleader Rafaello Cavallo. Actress in 13 films.
