The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Busbey was born Jan. 29, 1919, in McSherrystown. He was the son of the late W. Guy and Emma (Beck) Busbey.
He was a member of McSherrystown Home Association and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he received two Purple Hearts.
Mr. Busbey also is survived by a son, James R. Busbey of New Oxford; five daughters, Janine B. Benson of Findlay, Ohio, Elizabeth B. Emig of Abbottstown, and Veronica A. Becker, Rebecca B. Mondorff and Jacqueline M. Busbey, all of New Oxford; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Harold Busbey and Laverne J. Busbey, both of Hanover; and a sister, Marie Mundis of New Oxford.
The eulogy will be given by his son-in-law, Robert Benson.
