She was born Oct. 22, 1922 in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late August and Anna (Kopeschka) Habermann. She married Ralph Zutz Sr. on Sept. 12, 1943 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Collins. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1983.
She enjoyed gardening, especially her strawberries, raspberries and her flowers until the last few years at the family farm. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Collins.
Survivors include six sons and five daughters-in-law: Daryle and Nancy Zutz, Collins; Jeffrey and Vermae Zutz, Reedsville; Larry and Rosemary Zutz, Reedsville; Lesley and Joan Zutz, Route 4 Chilton; Ralph Jr. and Bonnie Zutz, Brillion; and Stanley Zutz, Manitowoc; four daughters and sons-in-law: Lynn and Ron Grimm, Branch; Cheryle and Bill Jandrey, Route 2 Reedsville; Joyce and Wayne Draheim, Route 4 Chilton; Janice and Tom Behnke, Route 4 Chilton; a sister and brother-in-law; Eunice and Robert Kock, Winthrop, Minn; and a sister-in-law: Gladyce Zutz, Hilbert; 28 grandchildren: Brian (Stacey) Grimm, Jody Grimm, Julie (Dave) Braun, Judy (Guy) Valleskey, Joan (Bill) Griffin, Nick, Shannon, and April Zutz, Becky Zutz and fiance Travis Grimm, Justin, Jade and Tenniele Zutz, Tatum (Andrew) Stecker, Kelly (Will) Nething, Kristin Krepline, Dawn(Duane) Bushman, Debbie (David) Schisel, Dean (Cassandra)Nemecek, David Nemecek, Troy (Lori) Theel, Stephanie (Bren) Derringer, Jenny (Judd) King, Julia Zutz and finace Isaac Wenzel, Heather and Kimberly Zutz, Nicole (Troy) Behnke, Michael Paul Zutz and fiance Sara Brick, Kenny, Amy and Travis Zutz; 20 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. (TONIGHT) Sunday, Dec. 7 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Collins with the Rev. Robert Hankwitz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Wieting Funeral Home of Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
