Kevin Don Bass, 52, of Kelso died July 13, 2012, at home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1959, in Albany, Ore., to Russ and Faye Bass.
Kevin graduated from Lower Columbia College and was a surveyor in partnership with his father in the mid-1980's until 2000. He most recently worked in small engine repair. Kevin enjoyed racing motorcycles on dirt and flat tracks.
He is survived by two children, Morgan in Portland and Jayden in Longview; and a brother, Randy in Phoenix, Ariz.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russ Bass Jr.
A private family service will be held.
Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.

According to a family member, Kevin was doing quite well this past year. He seemed to have a strong and loving relationship with his girlfriend Rhonda and also had rekindled his brotherly relationship with Randy.
It is believed that Kevin suffered from some type of depression issues that spun out of control. His death came rather unexpectedly.
He leaves behind several family members and friends that loved him and will be missed by many.
