Anna L. (nee Hoffman) Kimmerle , 102 Of Springfield Anna L. (nee Hoffman) Kimmerle, age 102, died July 19, 2012 at the Broomall Presbyterian Village. Mrs. Kimmerle was born in Elysburg, PA. She was a graduate of the Temple School of Nursing and a retired Registered Nurse at Temple University Hospital. She also was a graduate of the Eckels School of Embalming and a retired Funeral Director at the Kimmerle Funeral Home in Philadelphia. Mrs. Kimmerle was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Philadelphia; she currently was an active member of St Matthew Lutheran Church in Springfield. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her husband, Louis H. Kimmerle and 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors: Her children Anne L. (George) Althouse and Joan F. (David) Krauter; also 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday 9:30 AM St Matthew Lutheran Church, 400 Lynnbrooke Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Funeral Service Saturday 11 AM St Matthew Lutheran Church. Burial Westminster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St Matthew Lutheran Church Building Fund at the above address.
