George Koelle, of 1335 Whitney avenue, a native and lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, died this morning in Memorial hospital. He was 70 years old. He had been ill but a short time. Mr. Koelle, employed as a clerk in a Red and White store on Ontario avenue and Thirteenth street, was a member of the Niagara Falls Exempt Firemen's association. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Augusta Kolle; two daughters, Ethel Koelle and Mrs. David Biederman; two grandchildren; two brothers, John and Chris Koelle; and four sisters, Mrs. Frank McKinnon, Mrs. William Zinter, Mrs. Bert McConnell and Mrs. Dempster Hardy, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at the family home Thursday afternoon, with Rev. Dr. Arthur H. Schmoyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
