He Graduated from University of Houston with a degree in Engineering and served in the Army Corp. of Engineers during the Korean War. He had many professional affiliations in the Houston area from oil & gas to environmental liners. He had a love for fishing and spent a lot of time chasing "His Dream Fish" around East Matagorda Bay. He eventually retired and moved to Bay City, TX.
He is survived by his wife Sue Walling, sister Alma lee O'Brien & husband Harris, brother Bernard Walling & wife Charlene and children Walter (Butch) Walling & wife Susie and John Walling & wife Sandra, Susan Bruhn, Pam Stelchek and Robbie Evans & wife Debbie and 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was a great man and will be deeply missed by all.
