Fred Senn
Fred Senn, 81, of 1326 Brick, died at University hospital Iowa City Monday at 6 p.m. following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 10, 1875 in East St. Louis, Ill., the son of Rudolph and Barbara Moehn Senn. Nov 7, 1906 he married Lena Gerdes in Burlington. She is dead.
He was a retired blacksmith and auto mechanic.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph and Walter Senn of Sperry, and Howard, Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Charles Schweitzer, Burlington; three brothers, Rudolph and John Senn, both of Burlington, and Albert Senn, New Jersey; five grandchildren; also a number of nieces and nephews.
His wife, a daughter, three sisters and two brothers are dead.
Services will be held in St. Mary's Catholic church, West Burlington, Thursday at 9 a.m. The cortege will leave Prugh's chapel at 8:45. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
The rosary will be recited in Prugh's chapel Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.
