Chilton – Mrs. Theresa Leitner, aged 90, died here at 5:30 Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Max Kocher after having been ill for one week.
Mrs. Leitner was born January 29, 1845, in Austria, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nadler. She came to this country at the age of ten years and was married in May 1863 to Engelbert Leitner of Marytown. Her husband preceded her in death 19 years ago.
Survivors are; a son, Frank of Jericho, and six daughters, Mrs. Ray Reinl of Charlesburg, Mrs. Barbara Heimerman of Marytown, Mrs. Theresa Buechle of Jericho, Mrs. Matt J. Buechle and Mrs. Peter Lisowe of Jericho and Mrs. Max Kocher of Chilton. There are 40 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
Engelbert died in 1916.
