Willard Dail Hasenpflug was born to John and Julia Hasenpflug on July 9, 1923 in Lynch, Nebraska.

Bill joined the United States Navy in 1943 and served until 1946. He then moved to San Jose, California where he met the woman he would spend the rest of his life with. They then married on December 7, 1957.
Bill owned and operated B&D Distributors in Fresno and Merced and the 8 Ball Arcade in Merced until he retired.
For recreation and family time, he took his family and friends to the houseboat he and Doris had. It was one of the 1st house- boats on Lake McClure. They spent over 20 years on that lake.
Bill and his family were also very proud of his years of sobriety in AA. This March was 44 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
