Lois L. Little, age 86, of Grand Haven passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at a local care facility. She was born to the late Erwin and Caroline (Beuschel) Reister on April 3, 1926 in Conklin, MI. Lois married William Little on April 19, 1947 in Conklin, MI. William and Lois lived in Jupiter, FL for 20 years before moving back to Michigan in 1996. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Coopersville, lifetime member of the Missouri Synod of Lutheran Church, and past member of Grace Lutheran Lady Guild and the Alter Guild. Lois enjoyed traveling and enjoyed her time in Florida. She is survived by her loving husband, William; daughters: Sherry (Herman) Arends of Charlotte, MI, Michele (Michael) Ripka of Grand Haven, Aelise Little of Grand Rapids, MI, and Claudia Visser of Hudson, FL; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene Denny of South Carolina; and brother-in-law, Ralph Roman of Marne, MI. She was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Roman. The Funeral Service for Lois will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Coopersville with Pastor Joel Hoyer officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids. Family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to service.
