Actress. Born in Lexington, North Carolina, in 1910, Sayers appeared in such films as, "Ghost Parade" (1931), "Hold'er Sheriff" (1931), "Movie Town" (1931), "Speed" (1931), "The Kid From Spain" (1932), "High Gear" (1933), "I Surrender Dear" (1934), and "The Garden Of Allah" (1936).
Through her role in "I Surrender Dear" she was Bing Crosby's first leading lady. She was also a Goldwyn Girl along the likes of Lucille Ball, Jane Wyman, Paulette Goddard, Joan Crawfore, etc.Her first husband was the famous actor James Murray. They appeared together in Hold'er Sheriff and High Gear.She was married to the late Charlie "Jolly Cholly" Grimm (deceased 1983), an infamous figure in America's baseball history. Passed away in her Chicago Streeterville apartment.
