JOHANNES--Herman Johannes dies at Anaheim.
Word was received Saturday night of the sudden death of Herman P. Johannes of Anaheim, Calif.
Mr. Johannes was the son of the late John H. and Louisa M. Johannes. He was born July 3, 1898, in Columbus, and resided here until moving to California in 1941. He was formerly connected with Bucks Booterie in Columbus and Gallenkamps of Anaheim.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Beynan of Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. George (Sandra) Madson of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and a son, Lt. Jack Johannes of Bellevue.
Also surviving are a brother, Otto B. Johannes of Columbus; and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Reuter, Mrs. Martha Bushnell and Mrs. Irma Johnson of Columbus, and Mrs. Louise Launer of Fremont.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Anaheim, Calif.
