"Lois M. (Adams) Wahl passed away July 26, 2012 at her home, where she recently went to live with her grandson, Johnny Dunn and his family in Queen Creek, Ariz. She was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Burke Idaho to Ruple Mark Adams and Lucile Bernice (Feagan) Adams. Lois married John C. Wahl on Jan. 16, 1944 in Alaska.
Lois was a longtime resident of St. David, Ariz., a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the owner of the store Country Pumpkin for many years.
When married to her husband, John, she became a military wife, and together they traveled the states and Europe. She was a dedicated mother and military wife. She loved music, singing, dancing, and also was a great seamstress, painter, and had a deep love for animals.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Wayne Wahl of Benson, Ariz., daughters, Cheryll Livingston and her husband, Stoney, Charleen Hawksley, and Linda Eigenbrod-Reed and her husband, Phil, all of Tucson Ariz., Mrs. Patricia Koch of Shawnee, Kan., Lynn Berry and husband, Charles, of Hobbs, N.M.; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, John C. Wahl, her beloved son, Johnnie (Mickey) Wahl, two sisters, three brothers and grandson Derick Dunaway.
Funeral services for Lois M. Wahl, 86, will be held Aug 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. David, Ariz. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz."
