Brownwood Bulletin: J. P. Nunley. a resident of Brownwood for the past ten years, was found dead in his bed this mormng about 6:30. He was found in a sleeping position, and it was stated that he seemingly had made no move at all, and had passed away while asleep.

Mr. Nunley was born February 12th, 1851, being 75 years of age at the time of his death. Shelby Craft, who lives at 307 Austin Avenue, and with whom Mr. Nunley had lived for some time, stated that Mr. Nunley retired at about 9:00 o'clock last evening and seemingly was in the best of health.

Mr. Nunley had owned and operated a shoe shop at 607 Center Ave. ever since he had been in the city. He was a member of the Church of Christ for many years prior to his death.

Mr. Nunley is survived by three sons, James Nunley, who lives in the Brookesmith community, Albert and Amsy Nunley, who live in Sabinal, Texas. He leaves two brothers. W. B. Nunley and Robert Nunley of Missouri, and one sister, Mrs. Knima Burke. St. Louis. Mrs. Burke has been here for some time on a visit.

The funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Church of Christ, by Rev. L.P. Allen of Brookesmith, assisted by Rev. U. R. Forrest of Brownwood. Interment in Greenleaf cemetery will follow the funeral service. Pallbearers will include E T. Morris, R. F Clardv, Walter Leach. P. A. Glanville, O. M. Allnmn and Hubert Fields.
