1963 - Mrs. Carrie M. DeLong, 74, of 621 Parson St., Easton, died early yesterday in Easton Hospital. She was the widow of Prof. James H. DeLong, who had been a chemistry professor at Lafayette College before his death in 1947. Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late John and Isabella (Bower) Bleiler. Mrs. DeLong was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Easton; the Woman's Auxiliary of Lafayette College, and the Easton Woman's Club.
Surviving are a son James H. Jr., New Orleans, and two brothers, John Bleiler, Mertztown R. 1, and Thomas Bleiler, Topton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Earl A. Trexler Funeral Home, 25 E. Weiss St., Topton.
