ALEXANDER ADELMANN

Alexander Adelmann, for many years a resident of Chilton town, died on Monday morning following a brief illness and was buried from St. Mary’s church in this city on Wednesday morning, Rev. L. N. Thelen officiating, with interment in St. Mary’s cemetery.
The deceased was about 72 years of age and came here some twenty years ago, purchasing the Chas. Bullock place a quarter of a mile north of this city. Mr. Adelmann was a man of quiet habits and during his residence in this section raised and sold herbs throughout the county for medicinal purposes. Not much is known of his life history previous to coming here. He was taken ill on Friday of last week with an obstruction of the bowels and underwent an operation on Saturday but could gain no relief and passed away on Monday morning at 4:30.
