Freda M. Buffington-Randall, 97, of Saline, Mich., and formerly of Bloomer, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001 , at the Saline Evangelical Home in Saline. She was born Oct. 23, 1903, In Bloomer, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Baker) Beranek. She is survived by one son, Orrin (Barbara Bingham) Randall of Saline, Mich.; one daughter, Kathryn (Michael) Guerin of San Bernardino, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; ID great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence (Alta) Beranek of Bloomer; and many nieces and nephews. . She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters; three sons; and two husbands. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 at St. John's Catholic Church. Cooks Valley, with Father Al Sonnberger officiating. Spring burial will be In the church cemetery.
