Rosemary L. McKay, 84, of Grants Pass died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at a nursing home in Livermore, Calif.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday St. Anne Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Moys officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
She was born Rosemary L. Janda on June 8, 1915, at Ravinia, S.D. On Dec. 6, 1941, in Glendale, she married Robert Lewis McKay, who died in 1979. She was a registered nurse for 30 years. In 1947 she moved to Grants Pass and was employed at Southern Oregon Hospital.
McKay was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and was active in the Rosary Altar Society. She also worked with the FISH program.
She enjoyed bridge and lawn bowling.
Survivors include two sons, Jack McKay of Pleasanton, Calif., Dick McKay of Hamilton, Mont.; a daughter, Jean Lucido of Pleasanton, Calif.; a brother, Marion Janda of Lake Andes, S.D.; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
