1994, at the Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Private Funeral Services for the family will be Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at the Harrigan
Parkside Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery.
He was born April 28, 1903, in the country of Russia, the son of the late George and
Marie Schimyf Daubert. He was employed as a boiler fireman for the Oil Gear Company
in Milwaukee for many years. George married Ruth Gassett, May 14, 1949, at St. John's
United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Peter
Schleis Jr., Manitowoc; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews,
also with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three
sisters and one grandson.
Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
