Joseph F. Jarosh, 75, of 1815 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home. The Rev.
Charles Brooks will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Jarosh was born Dec. 27, 1893, in Dresden, Germany, son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Josef Jarosch. He came to the United States in 1909 and lived at Milwaukee
two years before coming to Manitowoc. He worked at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.,
and was foreman in the speed crane department 33 years, retiring in 1959. He
married Anita Schimek Nov. 26, 1918, at Manitowoc.
Survivors include the wife; five sons, Joseph Jr., Daniel, William and Robert,
of Manitowoc, and Ted of Neenah; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Janet) Rosinsky of
Manitowoc and Mrs. James (Beverly) Wotruba of Green Bay; a sister, Elsie of Prague,
Czechoslovakia, and 32 grandchildren. A grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
