Barbara was the Daughter of Charles Pendergrass and Lois Belle (maiden name unknown). She was the beloved Wife of John Apostolos Vlachos, loving mother of Marie Vlachos Weidman (who is married to Roy Weidman)and the late Paul (Apostolos)Charles Vlachos. In addition to her Husband, John, Barbara and others mentioned, she is survived by two grandchildren, Stephanie and Austin.
Friends may call at Demaine Funeral Home (520 South Washington Street in Alexandria on Wednesday, June 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church. Burial will follow at the National Memorial Park in Falls Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, Building Fund.
