Kent Wayne Johnson, 63, passed away on August 5, 2001 in Midvale, Utah.
Born on May 14, 1938 in Salt Lake City to Theodore Roosevelt and Julia Mardella Johnson. He married Ingrid Reger, later divorced. Married Lynne Swenson, later divorced.
Kent graduated from South High in 1956. He was a master chef all his life. Head chef at the Hotel New-house, University Club, and Old Elks Lodge #85.
He is survived by son, David Wayne Johnson, daughter, Wendy Malmstrom; two grandchildren; sister, Judy Anderson; step-sister Theresa Huggins, step-brother, James Stapley. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chad Johnson.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
