She was born on January 20, 1924 in Wausau to the late William and Nellie (Gaulke) Andreas. She married Walter R. Schepp on November 18, 1950 in Wausau. Walter passed to his eternal home on November 16, 2002. They were blessed with a large family including: Thomas (Mary) Schepp, Hazelhurst, John (Cathy) Schepp, Wausau, Daniel (Tamara) Schepp, Weston, Robert Jr. (deceased infant), Susan (Bob) Heckendorf, Weston, Cindi Schoenfuss Wausau, and LaNell (Paul) Erdrich, Rhinelander.
Those left to honor her memory include her 13 loving grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, a brother William (Bev) Andreas and a sister Delores Wood.
Issie is preceded in death by sisters Marion Netzinger and Dorothy Holdredge and brothers Elroy, Walter, Damer, Gilbert, Lawrence and Carl Andreas.
She was an active member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church and treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and weekends at Camp Schepp. She loved her bartending job at The Kelly Club after her retirement from Wausau Homes. Issie will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor, sharp wit and her fun-loving personality.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1351 South Grand Avenue, Schofield. Rev. Walter Davidson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Wausau.
